Great apartment, great location, terrible agency : When we arrived at the agency after a long journey, we were bluntly informed, without apology, that the apartment we had rented, and paid for well in advance, was not available. First we were told that the owner had decided to move in, then that the plumber was working on it. We naturally objected to this turn of events and were offered another apartment. unfortunately it was nothing like the modern, bright, comfortable apartment we had booked in terms of amenities and furnishings. The replacement was dark and old-fashioned, with hard wooden chairs. We did not agree on this and an unpleasant discussion ensued in the office. We were told we should be happy with the replacement apartment because it was larger than the one we booked. we pointed out that we had chosen a contemporary, light and modern apartment and that the replacement did not meet those criteria. From that moment the staff of the agency did not try to communicate normal with us. We are Dutch, we speak some French, but slowly. The staff form the agency does not speak English so communicating in French takes some time. The staff, and especially the manager, started speaking as fast as possible, and when we asked her to slow down, her answer was "we speak French as fast as we want to". The atmosphere became hostile, so we said we would call the police for help, and then suddenly there was a modern apartment available, in another building. This apartment was more like the one we rented so we accepted this one.
The new apartment was great, with a large balcony right above main street op Parlognan. The location is top, with shops and restaurants in the direct neighborhood.

Il est inacceptable que la communication n'ait pas été claire et que la situation ait pris une telle tournure. Nous sommes heureux de savoir que vous avez finalement pu profiter d'un appartement qui correspondait davantage à vos attentes et que vous avez passé un bon séjour malgré ces désagréments.
