A home in Spain : Een enkele kleinigheid: de keukenkastjes staan overvol. Goedbedoeld assortiment maar erg veel schalen/kopjes/plastic bakjes/ oude kruiderijen.
Alles werkt perfect: koelkast, oven en magnetron.
Gelegen in een rustige zijstraat in het centrum van een prachtige Spaanse kustplaats. Ongeveer 30 minuten lopen naar het strand. Het appartement is ruim en ‘homestic’: er zijn meerdere persoonlijke zaken aanwezig. Dit stoort geenszins.
Airoco in diverse kamers werkt snel en is erg aangenaam. In 45 minuten met de trein naar Barcelona.

Lovely well equiped apartment with a lovely roof terrace. The location was great, close to shops, restaurants and only 15 min walk to the beach.

El apartamento estaba súper bien equipado,la terraza en el ático muy bien para barbacoa ,la única pega es que es un tercero sin ascensor sobre todo porque fuimos con una persona mayor .

Appartement grand et bien placé dans une petite station balnéaire a 40min de barcelone ! Superbe terrasse avec barbecue de compétition! Moins de 30min a pied de la mer (avec femme enceinte) et proche de tout!

Andrea Aljure was a very helpful efficient agent especially when she attended twice to help us: 1- how to work the washing machine and 2- almost midnight when we were without electricity. Andrea came immediately and fixed the problem. We were delighted with the flat air conditioning, essential during a really hot spell.

We were extremely fortunate to spend 4 nights at this lovely, well-appointed apartment in Vilanova i la Geltru. The apartment is very near the "Rambla Principal" giving easy access to multiple wonderful places to eat. One of our favorites was Genito. Because of the central location, it provides easy access to the amazing market, the train station and the harbor. On one of our days, we foraged at the market, picked up lots of fresh seafood and grilled on the spectacular roof deck. It's not uncommon to rent an apartment and only to find that it is not conducive to having all of the necessary tools for a dinner with friends. Everything we needed was there.


We can't wait to go back!

After a non-stop flight from Newark to Barcelona, we took a taxi to the apartment in Vila Nova. It was an easy ride on Saturday morning and the cab fare was roughly US$80 for two of us.


The apartment is beautiful; it's fully furnished throughout, and clean and comfortable with a good bed and well-functioning showers. Always a must for us. And it's quiet! There's a small balcony off the front room that is perfect for watching the world go by…as much as there is in a small and quaint town. The location of the apartment is within walking distance to the main part of town, to the beach, and to restaurants, shopping, markets, museums and churches. For a few days, we did take a side trip to Barcelona using the train…it was so easy. Given more time, we could easily see using the apartment for a longer period of time. Beautiful flat, quiet yet within easy walking distance of the historic area and shops of Vilanova i la Geltrú. Stylishly furnished, it features a fully equipped kitchen and access to a huge rooftop patio with a magnificent view of the city. Vilanova itself is a lovely town to explore on foot, with excellent restaurants and bars, and a short train-ride away from nearby local attractions in Reus, Sitges, and Barcelona.

Staying in this apartment was easily the best decision we made on our visit to Vilanova i la Geltru. The apartment itself has all the amenities you could imagine for dining in, which proved just as alluring as the many incredible food options nearby due to the bountiful food markets in walking distance. In addition to a rooftop grill, and a fully functional kitchen, the apartment is equipped with rolling shopping carts, which allowed us to fit in with the locals at the market. The apartment is also within walking distance to the beach, which became a daily excursion during our stay. It's safe to say that with the owners' helpful recommendations and a truly beautiful home-base, we felt as if we were living in the city despite being tourists. Can't wait to return!
