The B&B Gan Eden is located in the hills of Bologna, in an area of great natural and scenic interest. The atmosphere of peace and relaxation envelops the guest upon arrival and because of this enchanting location, the B&B Gan Eden can become a reference point for nature lovers who want to hike in the many forest trails where you can spot many animals, squirrels, deer, deer, pheasants, hedgehogs, hares, etc. or simply for those who after an exhausting day of work need peace, silence and tranquility. The property, recently renovated, is fully furnished and has three double bedrooms each with its own bathroom a large kitchen, a spacious dining room and living room. It is located in a small hilly village, has a 3000sqm park with trees and fruit and the flat is on the first floor, away from traffic, whose accommodation is comparable to a suite with high prestige finishes, able to meet the different needs during a stay of work or leisure. The B & B Gan Eden is in a strategic position, although located on the first hill of Bologna, is only 35 km from the centre of Bologna, 20 km from the ring road, and the motorway exit of Bologna San Lazzaro and 80 km from Florence. Without a shadow of a doubt, the wonderful thing is the nature that surrounds this area, and could not miss a park of 3000 square meters, with a relaxation area with sofas, hammocks, a barbecue area with a large wooden gazebo and a table for 14 people and finally the solarium area equipped with sun loungers, tables, chairs and umbrellas and showers, all this 'make everything very comfortable and relaxing. Then, a few KM away, one cannot fail to mention the sanctuary of Santa Maria di Zena, better known as Monte delle Formiche. This name derives from a very particular natural phenomenon that has occurred every year since ancient times, when in the first days of September the males of the winged ants migrate from central Europe in swarms to this peak to perform their nuptial flight. Once mated, the ants go to die by the hundreds of thousands in the area of the sanctuary. According to tradition, the culmination of this phenomenon can be observed on 8 September, which has become the day of celebration at the sanctuary, although the exact date may vary depending on weather conditions. The importance of the sanctuary is also due to its privileged position that allows one to enjoy an amazing panorama and to the presence of the hermit's cave, dug into the rock and inhabited in the 16th century by a hermit belonging to the Jesuit order. Today, unfortunately, the cave remains visible only from the outside due to a natural collapse of the rock in 2003.
