Surroundings: The Abruzzo region offers something for everyone. There is the beautiful Adriatic coast with both sandy beaches (Montesilvano, Pescara) and pebble beaches (Ortona, Chieti). Pescara is a young hip port city with an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. Nature lovers can indulge themselves in the Apennines and the accompanying natural park "National Park Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga". The locals are warm, friendly and helpful, and the local cuisine is unbeatable. You are sure to spend an unforgettable holiday there!
