Description : Chalet Roc de la Lune à Méribel, terrasse 70 m² sud
Au cœur du village pittoresque de Vanthier, ce chalet en pierre allie charme montagnard et confort contemporain. La cuisine indépendante rénovée s'équipe d'un lave-vaisselle, four, plaque à induction, réfrigérateur-congélateur et micro-ondes, prolongée d'un espace petit déjeuner. Le séjour accueillant, avec cheminée d'époque, salon et coin repas, s'ouvre sur la terrasse sud de 70 m² dominant le Mont Vallon et la Dent de Burgin.
Les trois chambres se répartissent à l'étage : deux disposent de salles de bain attenantes et balcons, tandis qu'une petite chambre sous pente complète l'offre. L'entrée inclut un lave-mains et WC indépendants. Chauffage, lave-linge, sèche-linge, télévision et parking complètent les équipements.
Situé à seulement 150 m de l'arrêt navette gratuit et à 2 km des remontées, ce chalet bénéficie du calme du hameau tout en restant proche des commodités de la station. Animaux non acceptés. WiFi disponible en option payante.

The Good:
Easy drive/bus to Meribel Centre, Village, and Les Allues. Good base for skiing.
Warm, clean, cosy, quiet, and pretty comfortable. Modern downstairs.
Less good:
Linen service is shameful value: 180 Euros for 6 bedsheets and towels, which are just dumped in the hall - you have to make the beds yourself. The wrong linen was provided for one of the beds. Old linen was left on one of the beds when we arrived.
No equipment to clear ice / snow from sloping path to property, which was like an ice rink and dangerous.
We ran out of hot water one evening and no instructions were provided for boosting the heating system, so not everyone could shower.
It’s not clear who’s actually responsible for the listing - Poplidays on AirBnB or another company, GSI, who are based in Meribel. When we raised the above issues during our stay, neither wanted to be responsible for remedying them.
Address on AirBnB is incorrect.
Note - you have to walk through the 2nd bedroom to get to the 3rd.

DO NOT STAY HERE. the photos are inaccurate - there is old, dark red, ragged carpet throughout, even in the toilet room, and it smells of urine. Those cozy linens in the photos do not exist.
Check-in was disastrous. They posted the wrong address on . We arrived at 1:30am on the airport shuttle, left 10 pieces of luggage in the wrong yard, needed to taxi into town (30-min round trip) to pick up the key, tried to get into the wrong house, banging on doors, walking around the property (thank goodness we didn't get caught for trespassing). The property manager had provided an emergency phone number that was different than what was on the paperwork, so nobody answered to help me. When we finally found the house, all lights were all out, no heat. Then the agency did not reimburse us for that first night. No apologies.
There are NO amenities at this house - no dish soap, hand soap, cleaning supplies, napkins or paper towels, minimal toilet paper.
