The room itself had numerous problems :-
Couldn’t get hot water in the kitchen to work
No bowl or plug to wash up
Only 2 hand towels and bath towels not enough for a week
Unable to get the Washing Machine to work
Blanket on the bed was dirty
Sheet not big enough for the mattress (kept popping off)
Leak under the sink in the bathroom. We had to use the shower foot towel to stop it running across the bathroom
Shower plug hole blocked (water filled up in the tray)
No heating in the room when it was cold.
Although being told not to make any noise from 10pm to 8am unfortunately the rest of the building did not know this so slamming of doors all night long was a problem and because the whole building is very echoey re - Terrazzo tiled floor, frankly if I had known all of this beforehand I would not have paid in advance, asking for a refund or some type of compensation would not be asking too much.
