Appartement 2 ch, première ligne mer à Tamariu

This property needs a complete overhaul.
1. All domestic appliances need replacing (e.g. rusty fridge and washing machine)
2. Everything needs a proper deep clean
3. The aircon didn’t work
4. The patio and furniture are filthy
5. Bedding and curtains are shabby
6. Sofa throw dirty and smelly
7. No instructions at all for any equipment (TV, aircon, boiler) or for local amenities
8. WiFi very weak
9. The property needs regular airing as it smells musty
10. The photos are misleading as they imply it is the nicer property on the corner and they were clearly taken a long time ago when furnishings were clean and newer

Fantastic location! Right on the ocean and the boulevard. The apartment is not the greatest: kitchen was quite sticky and the shower drain was blocked. WiFi wasn't working and no instructions for the place (the hot water didn't work when we got there, we found a switch the next day). Contact with the host was also a bit difficult, there's a local partner you have contact with.
Important to note: there's no parking, you have to walk about 200m with luggage and park in the town. And you pay a security deposit (which we did get back:)).

Logement insalubre à fuir : Une catastrophe, logement insalubre qui a de gros problèmes de plomberie. Inondé dans la cuisine et la véranda quasiment tout le séjour avec une odeur d’égout en permanence (mes enfants en avaient du mal à dormir) . Pour laver le linge mon mari a dû vidanger à la main à chaque fois. Le logement était sale à notre arrivée et mal équipé (pas de planche à découper , pas de tire bouchon, équipement de cuisine de guingois…)Nous avons payé le prix fort pour 2 semaines et jamais nous n’avons été aussi mal logés . Malgré nos plaintes le propriétaire comme l’agence nous a complément ignorés voire snobés . On voit que le confort du client n’est pas important ils ne souhaitent qu’empocher de l’argent . Nous avons vraiment eu l’impression de nous faire arnaquer

(+) : The view from the apartment. That is all as it left a sour taste in our mouth with all the problems. Never book with Booking.com again.
(-) : The apartment was extremely dirty & hadn't been cleaned properly. Fridge was not cold & ended up completely broken along with all lights in the apartment. Spent all night from 8pm till 4pm with the workers trying to fix but not fixed. Horrible smell from back court yard that had nothing nice to make it feel welcoming. One tea towel for 7 nights & 5 people. 1 towel per person for seven nights. No wine glasses, seriously. No toilet paper, dishwashing liquid or washing powder. Filthy dirty couch & lamps & other fixtures like mirrors broken, mosquito door strips. Most disgusting place l have ever stayed in.

(-) : Damp- clothes smelt musty from cupboards. Some furniture damaged. Also v busy - couldn’t enjoy sitting outside property. Could do with a water pan to rinse feet- neighbours had one!

(+) : L’emplacement de cet appartement est tout simplement parfait , mais beaucoup de petits détails ne sont vraiment pas à la hauteur , les robinetteries sont d’un autre âge et sont bonnes pour la casse , une odeur désagréable vient du siphon de la douche ! . Autre point très négatif les parkings alentours sont tous pleins ( 30 minutes à tourner en rond et pose de la voiture à 300 mètres dans un parking payant pas très chère .. un conseil, laissez y votre voiture le temps du séjour ! ) mais à part cela je recommande cet appartement qui vous émerveillera par sa position idéale.

(-) : I was under the impression. That the patio was private. . Not a public walkway with folk staring into the lounge some even pressing their faces against my patio doors. Noisy children dashing up and down on scooters and lots of noise from the dive centre next door. It amazing what impression a quick photograph can present. ( Must have been taken very early morning)

(+) : Très bel appartement avec une vue imprenable sur la baie de tamariu. La remise des clés s'est très bien passé malgré notre arrivée à une heure tardive. L'appartement était également très propre. Je ne peux que recommander Corredo Mato!!

(+) : Accurate description, cozy home, very well located. Location can not be improved, it is excellent. Be aware that you have to leave the car quite far from the home as there is no driving in the area. Home is clean, well equiped and practical. But overall we loved it.

(+) : “Aigua Dolca 2 is a fantastic apartment immediately on the water. Communication was good, key exchange was flawless, and the apartment itself was great. We spent 4 incredible days in Tamariu, which is a fantastic little town with everything you could want - although it is definitely on the sleepier side - which is what we wanted. The apartment itself was tastefully decorated, clean, but not your typical as it is clearly explicitly for vacation rental use. Some things to note - there was no toilet paper provided - we had to go buy some. The kitchen isn't super well stocked so cooking can be somewhat of a challenge. And while the front page photo may lead you to believe that it is a private terraced area, it is actually a public walk-way, which doesn't detract at all from the experience - simply something to note. A great spot all in all! Definitely recommend it. One thing to note, Corredor Mato does not do security deposit through , but through their own agency so you are asked to provide separate credit card upon arrival.”
