Villa moderne pour 7 personnes avec piscine privée (7×4m) et espace extérieur clôturé. À 10 min à pied de la plage d'Alagoa, restaurants et commerces. Terrasse pavée, barbecue, pergola ombragée.
Cette villa moderne conjugue confort intérieur et espace extérieur généreux. À l'intérieur, trois chambres bien distribuées : une chambre principale avec salle de bain privative, une deuxième avec lit king-size et une troisième avec deux lits simples, partageant une salle de bain commune. Le rez-de-chaussée accueille une cuisine équipée avec plan de travail en marbre noir, appareils intégrés et buanderie sépaée, ouvrant sur un salon lumineux avec cheminée et deux canapés rembourrés. Les grandes portes-fenêtres donnent directement sur les terrasses.
Le cœur de l'espace extérieur, entièrement clôturé et sécurisé, est la piscine privée (7×4 m) entourée de transats. Une pergola ombragée offre une zone de repos au bord de l'eau, tandis qu'une terrasse pavée accueille une table de repas et un barbecue au charbon. Haies matures et portail complètent ce cadre paisible et privé. Restaurnts et commerces se trouvent à 10 minutes à pied, ainsi que la plage d'Alagoa avec ses sables dorés et sports nautiques saisonniers. Climatisation, chauffage, internet inclus.

Volodymyr le 17/10/2024A beautiful villa by the sea : (+) : The most beautiful villa. Excellent location. A 10-minute walk to the sea. The supermarket is just 1 minute away. The villa is very quiet and cozy. It has everything you need for both short-term and long-term stays.
(-) : There were some minor misunderstandings regarding the payment, but this was an issue with the website where we reserved the villa, and the problem was resolved. Additionally, the cleaning upon check-in wasn’t up to standard, but this was also addressed promptly.

Also has a roof terrace and balcony as other seating and sunbathing options. Villa has everything you need, including beach towels, which is always a bonus. Communication with agent and booking taxi pick-up from the airport was very good.

Mrs N. le 12/08/2024(+) : Our party of four stayed here just before the start of high season. Situated in a quiet residential part of Altura, the property is in a sunny corner plot, with very pretty shrubs and borders around a tiled outdoor area on 3 sides. There are spots both in sun and shade at all times of day. There are a few tall buildings/ flats which overlook the pool area but there are also private spots to be found. Apart from a similar villa across the road, there was very little evidence that the surrounding properties were inhabited. We could park our car on the driveway in the shade.
Inside the property, it is spacious, clean with cool tiled floors. The decor is slightly retro but has been well looked after. The lounge has large comfortable chairs with a larger area for the TV and a quieter snug corner. There are several remote controls for the TV etc. and despite some clear written instructions about how to get British channels on the TV, we failed in this regard (this didn't matter to us!).
As a family of food lovers it is imperative that the kitchen was well stocked - we were not disappointed (the knives could do with a sharpen, however). There's a Mercado Municipal open 6 days a week every morning for fresh fish, fruit, pastries, coffee just a short walk away. A very convenient Pingo Doce (similar to a Tesco in the UK) is barely 200 yards away. The restaurants and bars are close and on beyond these is the lovely clean wide beach. The distance is walkable except for the very old and very young who might struggle at the end of the day.
As an area, Altura is flatter and less dramatic than the west Algarve but it is also quieter, with the beaches much more spacious and uncrowded. If all you need from your holiday is sunshine, beach/pool and dining out, you won't need a car, though we enjoyed one for the added freedom. A few local maps, for both walks and driving, would have enhanced our stay.
All in all, an excellent holiday.

This is a spacious, exceptionally well-equipped villa with fabulous outside space, larger than it looks in the photographs. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Plenty of pool towels, glasses and crockery. The only thing we couldn’t find was unbreakable glasses for around the pool. There is an excellent supermarket, Pingo Doce a stones throw away and lots of bars, cafes and restaurants a leisurely stroll away. We did find that many of them didn’t open until 7pm which can be inconvenient if you have small children. While we were there (August 16th- 23rd) the house opposite had five large dogs which barked loudly all the time. We would have preferred to sleep with the shutters closed and the windows/doors open to allow some air flow but this wasn’t possible because of the noise. Obviously this is beyond Smartavillas’ control but I mention it because if you are scared of dogs or need some peace and quiet it could be stressful. If you are less than average height be sure to take a tall person with you! I am 5’1” and I couldn’t reach the shower heads or a lot of things in the kitchen and I struggled to hang things on the rail in the wardrobe. Despite this I would definitely stay here again. Communication with Smartavillas was friendly and efficient and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.
