It is a small villa located in the San Marco area (Calatabiano) only 2 km from Giardini Naxos, 6 km from Taormina and Isola Bella, 15 minutes by car from the Alcantara Gorges and about 30 minutes from Etna Volcano. The house has a living area of 100 square metres and can accommodate a maximum of 6 persons.
The cottage is all on the ground floor and consists of two triple double bedrooms with attached en-suite bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. The rooms are all air-conditioned and heated, equipped with LED TV, Wi-Fi Internet throughout the building and in the park. Bed linen and pool towels included. Panoramic views of Mount Etna and Taormina.
The outdoor area has a large relaxing sofa, a gazebo with table and chairs, and a barbecue. In the centre of the park is the saltwater swimming pool (measuring 6 x 12 m) with sun loungers, tables and parasols and two comfortable outdoor showers. The pool is closed from 01 December to 01 March each year for maintenance. Inside the property there is also a large private car park. The entire property is fenced off.
Surrounded by greenery and lulled by the typical scents of the Mediterranean, Villa Sicilia offers tranquillity and a breathtaking view of Etna, Taormina and Castelmola.
The nearest beach is only 900 metres away and is equipped with beach umbrellas and sun beds, cafés, restaurants, pizzerias and hotels. There are various shops, two supermarkets and a shopping centre about 1.5 km away, as well as petrol stations, bars and tobacconists. The position in which Villa Sicilia is located is optimal for being able to reach all the well-known tourist resorts in the area while remaining in complete tranquillity. It is only 2 km from Giardini Naxos, 6 km from Taormina and Isola Bella, 15 minutes by car from the Alcantara Gorges and about 30 minutes from Etna Volcano. The next air terminal is Catania-Fontanarossa (about 40 km).
